Top things to do Darwin – day tour to Adelaide River crocodiles and Litchfield National park
Adelaide River Jumping Croc Cruise is the first part of the Litchfield Escapes day tour from Darwin, Australia. On the crocodile cruise on the Adelaide River you will see the famous “Dominator” and “Brutus”, and a few others – big saltwater crocodiles in the wild, their natural habitat.
🐊“Dominator” is 6 meters long and about 85 years old
🐊“Brutus” is 5.5 meters long and about 80-100 years old
I really enjoyed this tour, it was a bit scary, and had to try really hard to “don’t touch the rails….or you will loose a hand and arm”, overall it was a great unique experience!
The Adelaide River Jumping Croc Cruise is just off the Arnhem Highway that goes to Kakadu National Park. Seeing crocodiles in the Adelaide River is a Northern Territory must-do, top thing to do if you are near Darwin, or Kakadu or Litchfield.
On this day tour, I will be continuing on to Litchfield National Park after the crocodile cruise.
Enjoy the journey! – Linda
